SyNic, Synthetic (S)-Nicotine.
Zanoprima’s SyNic isthe world’s first synthetic, high chemical purity (typically 99.9%) synthetic (S) -nicotine that is neither derived from any part of the tobacco plant nor from a synthetic racemic mixture of S- and R-Nicotine. (Little is known about the effects of R-nicotine in humans). It is made by a process that directly provides the natural-type (S)-isomer.
SyNic (S)-Nicotine conforms to and exceeds European Pharmacopeia (EP) and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) specifications (“clean” synthetic (S)-nicotine free base, typically 99.9% pure). SyNic can be used for all products that currently use tobacco derived nicotine.
SyNic (S)-Nicotine bitartrate dihydrate conforms to and exceeds European Pharmacopeia (EP) specifications (SyNic -BT). It can be used in modern oral products such as pouches.
SyNic (S)-Nicotine polacrilex resin/Nicotine resinate-conforms and exceeds EP and USP specifications (concentrations 18% and 20%) (SyNic-PX). It can be used in oral products such as chewing gums, lozenges, and pouches.

A revolution in e-cigarettes
Our patented protonated (S)-Nicotine e-liquid derived from SyNic for e-cigarettes is without any potentially harmful ingredients such as organic acids and propylene glycol. It is pure, stable and has a long shelf life.
E-cigarettes made with Zanoprima’s protonated (S)-Nicotine are clean with a smooth taste and enhanced nicotine experience, a distinct advantage given the nicotine limit guidelines/rules in e-liquids in the EU and potentially elsewhere.
Znus: Tobacco-free white snus
Znus is completely sodium free and tobacco free that makes it potentially a safer and less harmful nicotine product. The proprietary formulae contain buffered free nicotine.
Znus delivers a smooth taste without the characteristic odor and harshness of natural nicotine. It has an instant burst followed by sustained release as desired by the traditional Snus users. It will be globally licensed for production from late 2021.

We have developed (and entered the U.S. FDA regulatory approval process for) a set of products designed to demonstrate the benefits of our ultra-high-purity nicotine and our product innovations. These products may be available for licensing or partnership arrangements.
